DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The women's teams of Bethune-Cookman University athletics will be in full force this weekend promoting breast cancer awareness at events this weekend. First the Volleyball will have their annual Pink Game, and then Softball and Women's Basketball participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Saturday morning. Friday night, as the LadyCats take on Winston-Salem State in volleyball, B-CU hosts the annual Dig Pink game to support breast cancer awareness. The game begins at 7 pm at Moore Gymnasium. Fans and students are encouraged to attend to support the team and the cause, and don't forget to wear pink. On Saturday, the softball and women's basketball athletes will be walking in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Saturday morning. The Walk begins at 9:00 am at Riverfront Park in Daytona Beach, with registration beginning at 7:30 am. Bethune-Cookman Athletics encourages fans and students to join the women's athletics programs in their support of this important cause for all people.
