Redshirt Sophomore Year 2007-08: Played in 28 of 30 games, starting 16, while averaging 27.6 minutes per game...Averaged 8.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game... Finished the season third on the team with 36 steals...Third on the team in 3-point field goal percentage and points (232)...Made career highs with 12 rebounds and added another career Double-Double against Howard (1/14/08), and 4 steals vs. North Carolina A & T (2/11/08).

Sophomore Year 2006-07: Did not compete due to a medical redshirt.

Freshman Year 2005-06: Led NCAA Division I in 3-point Field Goals and 3-Point average. Honored as a member of the MEAC All- Rookie Team.

High School: Finished the season 28-2 earning Player of the Year Honors...The Coaches Award...Averaged a triple-double her senior season...Named to Who's Who in Sports...led the nation in 3-point field goals.

Personal: Born August 2, 1987, the daughter of Orlando Newkirk. In high school Keturah was an Honor Roll student. Her biggest influence is her daughter, because, "I do this for her, so she can have a good life." She is majoring in Physical Education (k-12). Upon graduating Keturah wants to explore playing overseas, or be a coach and teach P.E.
