Florida Gulf Coast University won the team title and FGCU's Patrick Williams edged B-CU's Willie Mack III by one shot for medalist honors in the Stetson University Invitational.

The 'Cats Mack III, the tournament leader after 36 holes, shot rounds of 68-70-73, 5-under par 211 for the tournament. Williams' 73-67-70-210 beat Mack by one shot to win the individual title. B-CU finished ninth of nine teams in the event and FGCU won by 23 shots over runnerp Florida Atlantic University.

B-CU final scores - 54 hole totals:  2nd place Willie Mack III (68-70-73-211), T34 - Sean Edey (78-80-77-235), T34 -   Doug Gribin (84-79-72-235), T41 - Alex Clapp (78-79-82-239), David Huertas 44th place (82-85-87-254).

B-CU next competes at Savannah State University November 9-10 in Savannah, Georgia.
