The Milwaukee Brewers picked B-CU senior pitching star Hiram Burgos in the sixth round, the 196th player picked in the Major League Baseball Draft on Wednesday. Burgos, who was part of B-CU's four straight MEAC Championships and four consecutive NCAA regional bids (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) - was 6-3 last year striking out 94 batters in 79.1 innings with a 3.74 ERA. Burgos totaled 21 career wins and over 250 lifetime strikeouts with the 'Cats.
