DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU) announced Tuesday, September 8, that it has released Head Track Coach Garfield Ellenwood and Assistant Track Coach Kia Davis, effective immediately.

This decision comes after a thorough internal review of ongoing issues in the track and field program which involve violations of University policy, as well as MEAC conference and NCAA rules. 

B-CU took this corrective action in order to maintain the highest ethical standards in its athletic programs consistent with the University’s mission and its membership in the NCAA.
