ORLANDO, Fla. - The Lady Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman Cross Country returned to competition Saturday, at the UCF Cross Country Complex, in their first meet since opening the season at the JU Duals on Sept. 4. The Lady Wildcats faced strong regional competition in the 5k run. B-CU finished fourth as a team in the meet with 101 points.

Leading the Lady Wildcats on the course, Alexandria Condell finished 19th, in a time of 24:08. Moving up in performance, Crystal Bardge came in just behind, finishing 22nd at 26:30. Newcomer Vanderlyn Watts came in 26th at 30:28. Rounding out the team for B-CU, Ryan Sanders finished 28th (34:08.50), neck and neck with Lashondra Wilbon, who finished 29th (34:08).

The B-CU women, as a team, finished fourth in the meet, ending with 101 total points. The men's team did not make the trip to the meet.

The Wildcats return to competition next weekend, Oct. 2, as they travel to the south for the FLrunners.com Invitational in Titusville, Fla.
