Wildcat Track & Field Wraps Day Two of Niswonger InvitationalThe Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman Track & Field finished out the Niswonger Invitational, Saturday, at the ETSU Memorial Center. The day's events featured several relays, middle distance events, and sprint finals for B-CU. Track & Field at the ETSU Niswonger InvitationalThe Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman Track & Field opened competition, Friday, at the Niswonger Invitational at the Memorial Center, on the campus of East Tennessee State University. B-CU faces a huge field in this weekend's meet, with over 50 universities in attendance. The Wildcats turned in some solid finishes in the few events with finals on day one, while qualifying three for finals performances in tomorrow's competition. [+] 1/9/10
Results from Day Two of the Clemson InviteCLEMSON, S.C. - The Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman Track & Field returned to competition, Saturday, at the Clemson Invitational. After a successful day with several upper-tier finishers, B-CU looked to gain some ground in the middle distance and relay events on the second day. B-CU finished middle of the pack in many events, with no winning finishes, but several top-ten performances. [+] 1/9/10
Results from Day One of the Clemson InvitationalThe Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman University Track & Field opened competition Friday at the Clemson Invitational on the campus of Clemson University. This was their second trip to the facility, as the Wildcats opened their indoor season there in early December. Facing off with eight other eastern teams, B-CU sought to improve on those performances and got a solid day of competition to kick off the meet, turning in six top-five finishes including one field-topping performance. B-CU Track & Field Opens 2010 Competition at Clemson InviteAfter getting their feet wet in the 2009-10 season at the Roaring Tiger Opener (hosted by Clemson), the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman Track & Field return to action this weekend at the Army Invitational, Carelton Crowell Open. The meet begins Friday at 5:00 pm at the Gillis Field house in West Point, N.Y. The team and coaching staff got a feel for the Wildcats' potential in each event in South Carolina and are looking to improve and excel against solid eastern competition. [+]
